# Natuurbranden in Portugal in 2022

107 branden van meer dan 100 hectare in Portugal in 2022, met 95.611 hectare verbrand volgens hun perimeters. Hier staat het hele jaar: wat de officiële reeks zegt, wanneer en waar het brandde en hoe het weer was.

## Het jaar in een paar zinnen

- Volgens ICNF (statistiekbureau INE van Portugal) brandde er in 2022 110.186 hectare in Portugal: 85% van het gemiddelde van de andere jaren van 2011 tot 2025 (129.152 ha). (ICNF (statistiekbureau INE van Portugal))
- De zwaarste week was van 9 juli tot 15 juli: 18.104 hectare verbrand in zeven dagen, 17% van het jaar volgens Copernicus EFFIS. (Copernicus EFFIS)
- De grootste brand was die bij Serra da Estrela, begonnen op 6 augustus 2022, met 25.260 hectare verbrand: 26% van het oppervlak van de 107 branden van dit jaar met een eigen pagina. (WorldFires)
