## Het jaar in een paar zinnen

- Volgens Copernicus GWIS brandde er in 2021 1.739.434 hectare in Colombia: 79% van het gemiddelde van de andere jaren van 2012 tot 2024 (2.192.276 ha). (Copernicus GWIS)
- De zwaarste week was van 26 februari tot 4 maart: 263.559 hectare verbrand in zeven dagen, 16% van het jaar volgens Copernicus GWIS. (Copernicus GWIS)
- De grootste brand was die bij San Vicente Del Caguán, begonnen op 31 december 2021, met 19.588 hectare verbrand: 15% van het oppervlak van de 42 branden van dit jaar met een eigen pagina. (WorldFires)
